Micro Headlines
Johnston County Public Schools has determined the make up plan for the missed school day on Feb. 21, 2020, due to winter weather. The restart calendar will now reflect a full school day on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, replacing the workday. The restart calendar will redesignate the half required school and half required county on Monday, March 16, 2020, as a required half school-based workday and half optional workday. Nine-month teacher assistants may choose to work on the March 16th workday.
An optional workday has been added on June 10, 2020, for the missed day for staff on the traditional and restart calendars.
