Building Academic Vocabulary
RRISD hosted Region 13 MS and HS Science Workshop
Building Academic Vocabulary in Science (MS and HS)
Round Rock ISD will be hosting a Region 13 professional development open to all secondary science teachers in the district. This is a professional development opportunity focused on curriculum and instructional practices teachers can immediately use in the classroom. This workshop will engage teachers in learning about how to scaffold and engage students in learning academic vocabulary.
Secondary science would like to have at least one representative from each high school and middle school campus attend. Secondary science will pay for the substitute of the campus representative. All teachers at the campus are welcome to attend but the campus must cover any additional substitute costs.
