Easter Dinners

To those of you who could benefit from a little help at Easter, please contact Mr. John Clauss at Please include your name, the number of dinners you would like and a phone number.

Portfolio Conferences

For those who have yet to attend, please enjoy your child's portfolio conference at Barclay. It is a time to celebrate accomplishments real growth from the start of the year as well as looking at setting new goals for the remaining months ahead.

In addition, as you head down the ramp to the classrooms, please take a look at the coat rack as you pass it. You may very well find a coat, hat, hoodie, and other missing apparel you've been looking for over the past few past months. We want all of these to get returned to their rightful owners. However, if that can't happen, please understand that we need to donate them next week as we have too many items to store and need to make room for more articles of clothing that children leave behind at Barclay.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade Registration

Register now for kindergarten for the 2015-2016 school year. Please register early in order to attend our kindergarten visit day in June.

New-to-Barclay students entering 1st grade need to register for the 2015-2016 school year, even if older siblings are already enrolled.

Classroom Placement for the 2015-2016 School Year

A FINAL REMINDER: The process of placing students in classrooms at Barclay for the next school year will begin shortly. If you wish to be a part of this process, you will need to put your thoughts about your child in writing to Mr. Estep. In order to do this correctly, you must:

· Write about your child’s strengths and/or needs

· Write about any peer concerns that truly impact your child’s education

· Do NOT make requests for a specific teacher no matter how clever you might try to word it...

Please be sure to send your letter to Mr. Estep by Monday, April 21, 2015.

Dismissal, Car Riders, and Being "Good Neighbors"

Please be sure to demonstrate RESPECT (one of the key Barclay Building Blocks) and not block the driveways of homes on Palomino when waiting in your car to turn into the school parking lot. We ESPECIALLY do not want anyone PULLING INTO those driveways. The police can be called for such action but nobody wants that to happen. Thank you for your cooperation and for setting a good example for EVERYONE to see!
