Summer Learning Opportunity

This year each elementary site will be offering a summer enrichment program (Kinder to Grade 4) depending on the level of student interest. Grade 5 students will attend their Middle School's SEAL program. The name of the program is S.E.A.L. and stands for Student, Enrichment & Accelerated Learning. This program will run for four weeks (June 28 -July 23), Monday-Friday from 8:00-11:30 am. If interested please be on the look out for registration in the coming weeks.

School of Choice - Grade 5 to Grade 6

School of Choice selections will be posted later this week in Parentvue. If you seek to appeal the choice, here are some important points to know:

  • Appeals will be considered and thoroughly reviewed for the following reasons:

    • Family wants student to return to middle school of residence (not guaranteed - determined by space availability)

    • Student will have a sibling attending the middle school/K8 of choice during the 2021-2022 school year (sibling priority is determined by space availability)

    • The appeal window is April 22, 2021 through May 3, 2021 (5pm)

      • Appeals may be submitted via a Google form embedded in the online MS Choice Application accessed through ParentVUE.

      • Appeal Google form can be located via ParentVUE:
School of Choice → 5th Grade Parents Click To Open SOC Application → List of School of Choice Activities: View Middle School Assignment→ Appeal Google Forms (Return to school of residence OR Siblings are separated)

      • Appeal outcome notifications available May 13th or sooner via School Messenger/ParentVUE
