Administrative Professionals Appreciation Week – Clerical and Secretarial Support
During the week of April 19-23, we take time to recognize Mrs. April Hibbard and Mrs. Richenda Schenk. Mrs. Hibbard is our office manager who oversees many things that keep Christensen running smoothly for students, families and staff. Because of her, all students have a classroom to belong to, the supply room never runs empty, and we always know about special events or activities in our community. Mrs. Hibbard is quite the skilled crocheter, cheers for the Seahawks, and loves sharing funny stories about her two daughters and their family pets. Mrs. Schenk is our office assistant, and hers is often the first face you see when you walk into our office. She is willing to help in any way she can and works tirelessly to ensure students are coming to school on time, all day, every day! Mrs. Schenk is very knowledgeable about nutrition, enjoys spending time outside, and beams with pride when she talks about her family, especially her grandchildren.
We are very lucky to have Mrs. Hibbard and Mrs. Schenk. They both bring the flexibility, positivity, and care that make Christensen such a fun and warm place to be!
