From Sap to Syrup

By: Rylan Henderson 3AC

Have you wondered how syrup is made? Maple syrup comes from sap trees.

A surarmaker drills a hole into the tree and puts a tap and sap starts drip.

the third step is the store! They put the syrup into plastic or glass bottle. people use it to put on waffles, pancakes, and more.

The first step in factory is to put it in a large pan and water boils away. as water boils away the sap gets sweeter and thicker. the second step in factory is to filter it so it is safe to use.
