Announcements!
STAFF ONLY:
- SBAC: Q&A from PD 1) math testers are allowed to have graph paper (however it's not provided/mandated by the state), and 2) reminder to log-in to see if your user/password are up and going - communicate with Anzelc/Taniia if there are any issues (log-in does not expire or change over time).
- Department Grade Entry: Department leads let Anzelc know where you'll be meeting this week on prep for RC entry.
- Conferences: 1) Anzelc needs all conference schedules by Thursday, 2) communicate attendance requests to Brinkmann, Edwards, Anzelc and Walker ASAP.
- Q3 Trash Pick-up: In addition to helping on these dates. Dates for clean up: 3/6-Forshage & Silas; 3/7-Snelling & Carey; 3/9-Rollins & Davis.
- SLC Prep: There is long Advisory/no enrich or intervention this week to prep for Advisory SLCs.
- ELPAC: Individual testing will continue 3/13. Kids will be pulled individually.
- Leadership Day: Lighthouse needs your response! Please make sure you fill out this doc in regards to your action team and what they will be doing on Leadership Day! Info is needed by 2/28. - 6th SOM: March 9th!!! Woot!!!!!!!
- Student Intent To Returns:
-Collect forms daily in advisory.
-Mark that you have received the form on your roster (this is for YOU to keep track).
-Turn forms into Taniia DAILY (do not wait until you have them all to turn them in).
-Forms are due Fri 3/9.
-Any forms you do not receive-have the parent fill it out at conferences.
ADVISORIES, STUDENTS & FAMILIES:
- SBAC State Testing: All students will participate in SBAC state testing in April. Please see attached parent letter for more details.
- Student Intent To Return Forms: Student intent to return forms were passed out to students and are due back to your student's Advisory teacher by Fri 3/9. If you need an extra copy, please see attachments.
- Multicultural Spirit Day: Celebrate your culture! Dress up in traditional or modern clothing to show your culture on March 9. If you need ideas, ask your Student Government rep!
- Treasure Chest Multi-Cultural Fest: For several years now, NP3 MS and HS Student Government have hosted a community event to showcase and celebrate student talent and diversity. This year will be no different. In fact, it will be even bigger and better as the ES will be part of hosting the event as well! To get this event started, we are inviting you - all the students - an opportunity to participate. Take a look at the info below and stay tuned for details on being involved:
WHO: NP3 K-12 Community.
WHAT: A cultural showcase of performances, booths, activities and community.
WHEN: Friday, March 9th from 5-8 pm.
WHERE: NP3 HS/MS Gym and accompanying area
WHY: To unify our 3 schools and celebrate our unique diversity and community

- March Madness: The tournament continues this week at lunch 3/5-3/7 & 3/9. Sign up with Student Government!
- Chipotle Fundraiser: 6th graders need your help in raising money for Science Camp! Please take the attached flyer and your family out to dinner on 3/12, 5-9 pm at the Chipotle off of Truxel Blvd.
- Parent Conference Week: We can't wait to meet with you and have your students share about their progress! Q3 parent conferences are 3/12-3/16. There are minimum days all week.
- 8th Grade DC/NYC Trip: It's finally here! Students who are going on the trip will be gone from 3/15-3/20. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Silas. 8th graders not attending the trip are expected to be at school.
- Spring Break: Pirates will be out of school Mon 3/19-Fri 3/30. School will resume Mon 4/2 in our new building! More information to come.
