Interested in Teaching Online?
On Wednesday, March 26, at 3:00 PM there will be an Information Session for faculty planning to develop and teach an online course for the first time. The session will be held in the Tate Center (7 Liberty St, School of Business), Room 207.
All faculty with an interest in developing and teaching an online course for the first time are highly encouraged to attend this session. Information will be provided on the Fall 2014 Faculty Distance Education Readiness Course, the Faculty Facilitator program, and important dates and deadlines. Fellow faculty members with experience in the DE Readiness Course and facilitating online courses will also share tips and tricks on how to be successful. There will be ample time to field any questions you may have so come participate in the discussion to see if teaching online is right for you. Hope to see you there!
Additional information and course petition documents may be found on the TLT blog at http://blogs.cofc.edu/tlt/learning/distance-education.
This information session is for faculty new to online teaching, who have never taught an online class at the College of Charleston
