Good News Call of the Day
FREE MEALS at GPS for ALL Students!
As per the USDA, funding has provided that all costs for all childrens’ meals will be temporarily waived. Free meals for students 18 and under will apply as far into the fall semester as funding allows. When normal charges for meals resume, you will be notified of this change.
Since this program is temporary, it is encouraged that if you believe that your family may qualify for free or reduced priced school lunches, please continue to submit completed applications to the Cafeteria Clerks Office as soon as possible. Approved applications benefit programs within the district and the district as a whole. Questions or concerns you may contact: Kathie Hanna, Cafeteria Food Service Manager 918-786-3003 x1123 or Patti Beamer, Cafeteria Clerk Manager 918-786-3003 1132

Building Visitors
If you should need to pick up your child early for an appointment, please call prior to the appointment so that we may have your child waiting in the office. You will then need to call when you arrive at school and we will meet you in front of the building with your child. Early check outs will not be permitted after 2:30 p.m. Make your plans accordingly and always call the office ahead. Remember- we do not change transportation plans for children after 2:00 p.m.
Birthdays are a special time for our students and we want to celebrate them! You may send special snacks to school with your child that are store bought. You may check your child out for lunch but please call ahead so that we may have them waiting to be picked up. Watch Ch 97 for your child's birthday recognition and check his/her backpack for our birthday book gift.
In the event that a parent needs to conduct school business such as dropping off a forgotten backpack or lunchbox, please follow these guidelines:
- Wear a Mask
- Wait to be temp checked by office staff when entering our front doors
- Stand behind the blue line in the front office
- Should you need to visit with a teacher, you will need to call ahead and schedule an appointment during their planning period
Thank you for your patience, flexibility and cooperation this year as we do our best to keep our students, staff and our community safe, healthy and well.
