Great Things!
I hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend with your families, your furry babies, or some quiet time to yourself.
This past week brought several changes for us including lesson plan prep, site closures, and overall school closure for the remainder of the year. Everyone I have spoken with this week has maintained a positive attitude and outlook on this. Thank you for working on shifting your thinking to the helpful and positive this week! This is one of the many reasons I love this staff so much.
Hot lunches were started this past week in the grab and go, and we were so excited to hand them out! What a nice treat for our students and families to have a hot lunch!
I told several of you, but "Hermie" our crab molted this past week! He has new shiny pink skin and is loving his new RV at my house (as Laura EG so lovingly named it).
The tulips around HG are gorgeous!! If you have time to go out and about and want to go for a drive, they are worth seeing. So pretty around our marquee!
I loved reading your feedback on Dr. Bailey's webinar. Great ideas, feedback, and takeaways!
Challenge/Focus: Shift our Perspective "OHHHHH Shift!"
This week, let's be grateful. Grateful for all of the things we have during this crisis. When you are feeling overwhelmed or getting down, pause, take a deep breath, and be grateful. We got this!
Are you willing?
Dates to remember:
April 14: "International moment of laugh" day
April 16: Happy Birthday Michelle!
April 16: Fire drills (unannounced) go on... go outside, take role, and then come back in... =)
April 17: "blah blah blah" day (the day to do all the things people have been nagging you to do, you know, clean the pantry, pick up your toys, blah blah blah).
Soiin is working on shapes and hopping!
Christian is playing the hot dog game.
Isaiah made play dough!
