Greengate Newsletter

December, 2016

A Message from Dr. Hargett

Happy December! It is amazing to me that I am sending out the December newsletter – it feels like the first half of the year passed by so quickly! But colder weather is upon us and I want to ask that you remember to write your child's name in their coats and jackets! The items in our lost and found box seem to multiply during the winter months.

The month of December brings colder weather and of course, the holiday season. This holiday season is all about giving, and the quality time you spend together with your child/children can be better than anything wrapped up with a bow under the tree!

We all should remember to give of our time to those we love,

especially our chidlren.

Our last day of the 1st semester is Friday, December 16th-school will dismiss at 11:30. Please remember that students should continue to read, write and practice their math facts over winter vacation! Reading and writing can be about topics they enjoy and shared with parents and siblings alike. Students can also write some resolutions to ring into 2017! To all of our Greengate families, warmest holiday wishes, and here’s to a prosperous new year for all!
