Principal's Message

Greetings Carver MS,

We had a great start to the new year! It was fantastic to welcome students and family members back to school. We have a busy week ahead of us with our full year foreign language students taking their mid-term exams this Wednesday. Please continue to check Parentvue as we have three weeks remaining in this semester. Students have plenty of time to complete assignments but no time to waste. Please communicate with teachers and counselors to answer any questions or clarify concerns that you may have.

We will have the first Principal's chat of 2020 on Tuesday, January 28 at the Longmeadow Club house. The address is 2819 Longmeadow Cir, Chester, VA 23831. We hope to see many of our parents and community members in attendance to discuss Carver MS and our focus for the remainder of the year.

As a reminder, school is closed next Monday, January 20. 2020 in celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

Thanks and have a great week Carver MS!

Anthony J. McLaurin, Ed.D.

We want our WATCH D.O.G.S. to volunteer their time in our school to better enhance the learning experience for all of our students, teachers, and staff. We will take any time you have to be in our building and be an additional presence of support for our school.
