Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you all have an excellent week and enjoy time with your families!
Business
New Business:
- 2019-2020 Calendar-- On Friday, Rayleen Walker and I attended the county calendar committee meeting. We think the calendar for 19-20 is pretty similar to 18-19. The union currently has it for their review. Here it is for your review as well.
- Coaching with Amy Moore-- We are going to use Title IV funds to help pay for bringing Amy in to coach our teachers. Each building needs to select its own date (please give me your top three choices), and I will then work with Amy to finalize dates. If January won't work for your building, I'll have her look at February in a few weeks. As a reminder, the purpose will be for her to model lessons with groups of students -- you can also talk to her directly about going into classrooms for coaching, if you think that fits your building needs. AVAILABLE DATES: 1/4, 5, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, 29. Use this form to indicate your date preferences -- dates will be coordinated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Book Study -- We are reading Ch. 7, 8, and 9 for the 12/13 A-Team
Old Business:
- MAX-- Per the DLT, remind your teachers the goal is to keep working towards at least 1 strategy twice a week between now and December 20.
