I am extremely thankful and excited to be a part of the Buckhorn family! I am a graduate of Buckhorn High School. I received my bachelor's in journalism from Auburn University (War Eagle!). My freshman year we won the National Championship. My senior year, was the year of Kick Six and the Miracle at Jordan-Hare. I worked as a news producer for a local news station before pursuing my education degree from the University of North Alabama. I look forward to the upcoming school year! It's great to be back in Buck Nation.

SAFE-2-TELL - our anonymous safety tip text line. The number is 256-536-8355, and students should use this to report incidents of bullying, threats, drugs, weapons, or anything that makes them feel unsafe. This partnership with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office is absolutely critical to helping us prevent any issues before they become issues. Please ask your children/students who have a phone to store this number, so they can advocate for their own safety.

The Schools Foundation (TSF) has asked that Madison County Schools help promote the Sign Up to Round Up program with our staff and families. The Round Up Program was started by The Schools Foundation and Huntsville Utilities to support local public school systems. The Schools Foundation is a funding partner of MCS. The more residential and commercial locations that round up, the more funding they will have to support our district. TSF has exciting plans to help all of the schools in Madison County as participation increases! They estimate that if half of the residential Huntsville Utilities users rounded up, it would generate approximately $500,000 to support our schools!
By rounding up your utility bill to the nearest dollar each month, you help invest in the future of students in Huntsville City, Madison County and Madison City school systems. You can also easily round up on line:…/checkbill/roundup/signup.html
It might be a penny, it might be 25 cents, it might be 99 cents, but it will be no more than $11.88 a year. It takes less than 1 minute to fill out. Thank you for supporting one of our community partners!
