Attendance at Emerald Campus and High Schools
We wanted to take this time to remind students and families of the attendance procedures for Emerald Campus. Just like the home schools, we need students to sign in and out for appointments, etc. The attendance runs through the home school, but we communicate the information for tardies, appointments, etc.
Please review the following-
- When a student is going to be absent parents should still alert the home school attendance office. See the contacts below.
- If a student needs to leave Emerald Campus while scheduled to be there, they should take the following steps:
- Alert their teacher as soon as they know of the absence.
- Show the teacher the note from their parent/guardian the day of the absence as a pass to leave class.
- Give the note to the front desk secretary at Emerald Campus to leave for the day of the absence. The secretary will send the note to the home school. The home high school attendance office maintains all official student records.
- If a student arrives late to Emerald Campus, they are to sign in at the Emerald Campus school front desk. A class admittance pass will then be issued and the teacher will allow students to enter class. This process is to ensure attendance records are accurate at the student’s home high school.
- When students are absent or arrive late, students should also submit a signed note from a parent or guardian with the reason to the home school attendance office. If this is turned into Emerald Campus, the note will be sent to the home school to be put in the student’s file. An email will work for this signed note in some cases, but when going to a doctor's appointment a note from the doctor is required for excusal

IB assessment invoices are out. Payment should go through Pay schools. The assessment fee for each course is $119 and is assessed during the year of assessment. The exact fee due will show in the applicable student's PaySchools https://www.payschoolscentral.com/ account as 1 Test, 2 Tests, etc. There is a flat $1.75 fee for the payment. See Something, Say Something
At times, social media can fuel rumors of threats toward our schools or individuals. When school administration is made aware of any such allegation, it is thoroughly investigated in collaboration with law enforcement, and appropriate legal counsel. The outcomes of these investigations are not a matter of public record.
We offer a number of avenues for students and parents to provide information to us. If you or your child has been directly affected by an incident at school, you may do any of the following:
Call or email an administrator, school counselor, or other trusted adult.
Submit a report via Stay Safe. Speak Up app or website or call 1-866-LISTEN-2-ME.
