HACU Deloitte Student Leadership Award
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) would like to invite your accounting students to apply for the $10,000 HACU Deloitte Student Leadership Award and a full HACU Conference Scholarship to attend the 2016 HACU Conference in San Antonio, TX.
HACU in partnership with Deloitte LLP is offering a $10,000 award to high-achieving accounting students who have demonstrated leadership qualities through academics and community involvement. Please read the information below for eligibility requirements and application instructions.
Eligibility requirements
- Accounting major
- GPA 3.5 or above
- Classification: Sophomore or Junior
- Full-time student attending a four-year college or university
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident

Frost Bank - Personal Banker I
As a Personal Banker I with Frost, you will be responsible for providing coverage in Personal Banking and Teller Services during absences and peak work conditions. Responsibilities will include selling deposit, loan and fee-based products; assisting customers with customer service issues and account maintenance; providing all teller services, which includes accepting deposits, payments, and check cashing as needed; attending both teller and personal banking training in order to stay current with information; and providing other services which include: collection services, wire transfers, statement call, check certification, savings bonds issuance and redemption, bankcard cash advances, issues of ATM cards and temporary checks. The candidate will remain familiar with applicable policies, laws, and regulations, and Bank Secrecy Act policies.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Organizational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Positions are located in either Central Austin or North Austin.
Hours vary between 7 a.m. - 6 p.m. + Rotating Saturdays, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Work Study Off-Campus Community Internship Program
This program provides paid internships with local nonprofit organizations for students eligible to receive federal work-study funds in the fall and spring semesters. Each August, a list of internships at local nonprofits that have been selected to participate are posted. To determine if you are eligible for federal work-study funds, contact your Student Financial Services Counselor.
To Begin the Eligibility & Application Process, students must:
- Be currently enrolled at St. Edward's University as either an undergraduate or graduate student
- Be eligible for work study funding to apply for these internships
