FAE Virtual Summer Academy

The Foundation for Academic Endeavors is offering its virtual summer academy for students in pre-school-8th grade.


CLASSES MEET ONLINE 3 TIMES A WEEK $30 PER STUDENT FOR 6 WEEKS OR

$80 PER FAMILY OF 3 OR MORE STUDENTS FOR 6 WEEKS

(PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE)

Small Classes, STEM, Literacy, Fun Family Activities, Free Books!

All supplies and parent training will be provided.

Kindergarten Registration Open

Kindergarten registration is open now for the 2020-21 school year!

Register your student online. Before you register, you’ll need:

  • Child’s Birth Certificate or Passport

  • Completed Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS)

  • Child’s Immunization Record

  • If applicable, parenting plan/court order and/or proof of guardianship


Please note that due to a new law, your Certificate of Immunization Status must be medically verified first. More information about this is on our website.

Ready to Learn Fair - Aug 15

Join the Anacortes Schools Foundation and the Anacortes School District at our 20th Annual Anacortes Ready to Learn Fair on Saturday, August 15th 9am-12pm at our new location: Anacortes High School!


Each year, the Ready to Learn Fair provides FREE back-to-school essentials like backpacks, supplies, clothing and more to Anacortes students and families who need a little extra support. To learn more about this FREE event, please visit our website at www.asfkids.org/ready.

Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County for iClubhouse!

Could your child use some fun and a chance to socialize? Register them for iClubhouse where they can try their hand at being an artist, a scientist, a dancer, or a world traveler while connecting with staff and other members in real-time via Zoom. It is available for anyone grades 1st-12th. We have members joining from as far as Arizona. It's free for current Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County members, and new members only need to pay a $5 application processing fee. Register your child at www.iclubhouse.org


Dogs on Call - Volunteer Opportunity - We need YOU and YOUR PET to help kids in need with Dogs on Call! If you are interested, click on the flyer!


All fourth graders are eligible to see America’s natural wonders and historic sites for free through the Every Kid Outdoors Program! This program provides fourth graders and their families access to public lands (NATIONAL PARKS, FORESTS, WILDLIFE AREAS, BLM, ETC.) for one year. Passes can be printed and brought with the child on their park visit. Encourage fellow educators, parents and friends with fourth graders to download their Every Kid Outdoors pass today!
