Weekly Update- April 14, 2023
Last Day in Quarter 3!!!!
The Career Fair that we hosted on Friday 3/31 was a success. Over 75 companies/institutions attended and our students had the opportunity to learn about a wide range of different careers after HS.
Upcoming dates to keep in mind...
- Juniors and Parents- College Admissions Presentation April 19th- Please RSVP
- Pre ACT exam (Sophomores registration forms are available in N14)- Saturday April 22nd (Deadline for registrations was 4/14)
- Senior Decision Day is scheduled for Friday April 28th. Celebrations ongoing through lunches (1130-130) Seniors to wear future plan swag.
- SUNY College Fair @ Brockport- Juniors Wednesday May 3rd (Permission forms in Counseling Center)
- Seniors accepted and planning on attending MCC in Fall 2023. Field Trip May 16th. Permission slips available after April 20th
- ASVAB (Juniors, Seniors take precedence then open to sophomores)- **Date change** May 19th
Take your ACT and SAT exams at Schroeder!!

SAT: May 6th (Register by April 7)
June 3rd (Register by May 4)
ACT: June 10th (Register by May 5)

Test Location: Webster Schroeder High School
Date: Saturday April 22, 2023
Arrival: 730 AM- test can start as soon as all room attendees are present.
Test starts no later than 8 AM. No late entrants after proctor begins test in room
Bring: photo ID (students should have access to school issued) reach out to Mrs. Mezzanini if you do not have a current photo ID
Calculator and pencils
NO MECHANICAL PENCILS
CELL PHONES CANNOT BE USED AS CALCULATORS
Cell phones are allowed before testing begins and then are turned off for the entire duration. Students are not to access cell phones until the room is released after testing materials are collected.

Pre-College Programs


University of Mississippi offers Pre-College Summer Program for Juniors and Seniors
The Office of Summer College Program is offering the Exploring Arts Track. The Exploring Arts track is open to all rising juniors and seniors. The students who meet the requirements can apply for a scholarship base on merit or need. Suppose you have students passionate about music, art, drama, and film production. Please, encourage them to apply. I have attached an outline of the courses and track emphasis in the pdf. If you have any questions, please contact me at 662-915-2344.
