SAFETY TIPS FOR AM AND PM CAR RIDER LINE
1.Wait in the single line to drop off/pick up your student.
2. Do not drop off/pick up your student on the street in front of the school
3. Do not drop off/pick up your student in the front parking lot
4. Do not drop off/pick up your student in the teacher parking lot or on the bus ramp after 8:10am
5. Do not stop the line to pick up or drop off your student at the front door. Follow the signage and drive up as far as you can in the circle drive.
6. If you must exit your car, please park in an appropriate spot and use the actual crosswalk.
7. Have your student to enter the car door nearest the school sidewalk. Walking around into oncoming traffic is dangerous.
Observing proper road rules can help to eliminate any emergencies or accidents. Please email the school or ask questions if you are unsure of the procedure or if you have extenuating circumstances for drop off and pick up.
Thank you in advance for helping us to keep the students safe.

Jags are on the Move!
Hello Jag Families,
I want to brag on our fine arts department and you should too. Congratulations and good luck to our theater troop and their directors Mrs. Wallace and Mr. Jamerson. They have advanced to the first ever bi-district competition this Saturday. Good Luck to our band and orchestra students who will perform at their respective Regional Concerts. Thank you to Mrs. Amos and the entire fine arts department for an impeccable Veterans Day program. Once again, we appreciate your service to our country. Our basketball teams had a clean sweep this week as the girls took on DMS and the boys took out Alief KMS. Your support and dedication to our students is greatly appreciated.
The teachers are working hard to provide rigorous and engaging learning opportunities for your children daily. They are meeting, planning, staying late, and coming in early to ensure quality education for all. Be sure to thank your child's teachers when you see them. If you have questions, please reach out to them via email and schedule a parent-teacher conference.
Thank you to the parents that came out for the counselors' parent night on social media and bullying. I am also appreciative of the parents that came to the November PTO meeting. Please place all upcoming dates on your calendar and join us for future parent events.
Enjoy this chilly weekend.
