All FRSD faculty and staff members assembled together today to celebrate the start of the 2022-2023 school year. Dr. McGann welcomed all staff, including our newly District-employed Teacher Assistants; principals recognized staff who have reached years of service and tenure milestones and introduced new hires; Board of Education President Susan Mitcheltree and Flemington-Raritan Education Association President Aileen Marsh shared remarks; our Class III officers for each school were introduced; and the faculty keynote address was given by Zoey Blampey, the Robert Hunter School Stretch Teacher. Another highlight was the electric guitar performance of the Star-Spangled Banner by Reading-Fleming Intermediate School Guitar Teacher Tom Amoriello. We wish our FRSD educators and staff a successful school year!

Our first day of school for all students is Tuesday, September 6! It's an exciting day for everyone at FRSD as we eagerly welcome all of our students to the 2022-2023 school year!

Dr. McGann will hold a Superintendent Talk-a-Latte Roundtable Session in each school this year. Specific topics for each session are planned, including strategic planning and school security; curriculum areas such as civics, social studies, health and physical education; inclusivity, diversity and equity; STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; school climate and culture; and mental health.
