Mexican Revolution

Causes

summary

I'm searching about the Mexican Revolution. The region I'm researching is Mexico. The time period I research was between 1884-1940. One major cause of the Mexican Revolution was because the terrible leadership of Porfirio Diaz. The dictator Porfirio lasted for 30 years and more. Diaz was challenged by Fransico L. Madero because he wanted to have clean elections but, Diaz refused. Madero's then calls for a revolution gaining help from Emiliano Zapata in the south and Pascual Orozco and Pancho villa from the north. Diaz role was creating the Mexican revolution and fighting in it. He also had poor working conditions for workers and he also had a disparity between rich and poor. He'll mostly care about the rich and make the lives of the poor difficult by taking away their land and making them into slaves.

Leadership

Porfirio Diaz was dictator for 30 years and due to his dictatorship everyone was affected. Many soldiers and citizens died, the property got affected by the fighting, and everything was destroyed. Porfirio Diaz was the cause of the Mexican Revolution. The aspects of his leadership were that he ruled for 30 years, 1884-1911 as a dictator. Mexico and the people of Mexico suffered. Many lands were taken away, people were a force in a debt-slavery and he took away the freedom of speech.

Why did the people of mexico overthrew Porfirio Diaz?

The people of Mexico overthrew because they thought Porfirio Diaz was a terrible dictator, which he was. He ruled for 30 years or more and they took away a lot of rights from the people and many of them didn't enjoy his decision. For example he took away the freedom of speech, took away land and put people into slaves. Daiz wanted to make Mexico a decent Country and many people looked up to him. Then by time Porfirio Daiz turn into a terrible leader because he when mad with power. He did take a lot from people. He took away their freedom of speech and their land as well.
