More gun control laws or nah ?

People should have the rights to own guns no matter what!

The Second Amendment protects gun ownership

Gun owner ship has been around longer than the country its self we shouldn't take that away , the right to bear arms shouldn't be infringed to secure a free state "according the National Rifle Association (NRA) guns are used for self defense 2.5 million times a year" (ProCon.org)

Strict gun laws dont work!

"Mexico has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world and yet in 2012 ,Mexico had 11,309 gun murders compared the the united states that had 9,149 gun homicides " (ProCon.org) Americans were 21.5 times more likely to die of heart disease and 2.4 times more likely to die of diabetes than to die from a firearm weapon .

Guns can be used in self defense

A 71-year-old Texas man defended his wife from a robber outside a grocery story in October, 2014. A man in his thirties walked up to the elderly couple and ripped a necklace off the woman’s neck, pushing her to the ground. But her husband pulled out his handgun and fired at the criminal several times. The robbery suspect got in his car and drove away, but crashed his car and died not far from the scene.
