You might be surprised to hear that water makes up about 55-75% of a mature body.

Water is critical for survival, people can live for about 6 weeks without food but only a few days without water.

Water does a lot for our body, such as; transporting substances to the cells that need them, cushioning & moisturizing tissues & joints, & much more. Water is part of every cell, tissue, & organ. Without water in the right balance, body cells would die. Wherever water is in the body, it has work to do. Water enters the body in liquids and foods, people who don't drink enough water everyday become dehydrated.

W- Water removes waste.

A- Adds necessary nutrients to the body.

T- Transports minerals, vitamins, glucose, & other substances throughout the body.

E- Every cell, tissue, & organ has water in it.

R- Regulates temperature of about 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit
