While this prize is not Breakfast Club cool, they are pretty sweet.

Inviting people to contribute to our Fun-a-thon is quick and easy. Follow these instructions to set up your account and invite your friends and family to take part. Every student who does will receive a Mr. Aviator temporary tattoo at the Fun-a-thon, May 13.

SJH: IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

7th Grade Parents: SJH Beta Club

SJH National Beta Club recommendations to current 7th-graders:

Recommendation letters (on gold paper) were given to students who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.7 for the first three quarters of their seventh-grade year to apply for SJH's chapter of the National Beta Club.

Beta club is a nationally recognized organization that is based on the motto: "Let us lead by serving others." This organization is similar to the National Honor Society at the high school where academic achievement is recognized and community service opportunities are encouraged. The club meets after school approximately once per quarter, but more meetings are held prior to events in which the club participates. Additionally, throughout the year, volunteer opportunities will be posted for students to partake in their own time.

If your student met the academic criteria, they must also complete the application and pay the $20 membership fee if they choose to become a member. All details are on the recommendation form given to the student. The strict deadline for applications and the fee is Tuesday, May 10th.

If you should have further questions, please contact either Leah Dworkin at dworkinl@sycamoreschools.org or Dana Darbyshire at darbyshired@sycamoreschools.org
