Dear Nazareth Community,
TODAY, Wednesday, 2/26, marks the beginning of the Lenten Season for Christians around the world. The Season of Lent, a forty day liturgical period of prayer and fasting, begins with Ash Wednesday and concludes with the celebration of Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday (April 12).
For those who are interested in commemorating Ash Wednesday on campus, ashes will be distributed at both services in the Linehan Chapel today February 26:
12:30 pm Catholic Mass
7:00 pm Ecumenical Service
(Catholics and Protestants together)
All are welcome to both services today!
