Sora
Sora is an app that provides access to a collection of ebooks and audiobooks that we share with Memorial and the High School. This slideshow will help you login if you haven't used Sora before. If you have any trouble logging in or using Sora, please email me at gartleel@spsdme.org. If there is an ebook or audiobook you are looking for that you can't find on Sora, please let me know, and I will do my best to find it for you!
Junior Library Guild
Junior Library Guild is currently offering free access to their online ebook collection. You can access more free ebooks by visiting jlg.ipublishcentral.com (or downloading the JLG Digital app on a personal device) and signing in with the username JLGMID and the password JLGFREE.
Epic!
Epic! is another online ebook collection. You can access Epic! by downloading the app or visiting https://www.getepic.com/students and using the class code wtt8334. Epic! has tons of books, comics, audiobooks, and videos. Epic! can only be accessed during the school day.

International Children's Book Day is observed on or around Hans Christian Andersen's birthday to inspire a love of reading and celebrate children's books.
National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day
Ah, peanut butter and jelly. The ingredients have a long shelf life and its so easy to make, a little kid could do it. Truly, the perfect lunch.
National Burrito Day
Traditional or breakfast burrito? Black beans or pinto beans? Rice or potatoes? Today is your day to celebrate the glory of the burrito.

Tor.com has collected a series of Classic SF Radio Dramas to Engage Your Imagination. The author explains that he loves science fiction radio dramas in part because "radio’s visual effects are so convincing."
Dav Pilkey at home
Dav Pilkey, the author and illustrator of Dog Man and Captain Underpants, is collaborating with the Library of Congress to offer online activities, including drawing demonstrations and read-a-louds online. Activities begin this week. Find more information on the Library of Congress page.
