Mrs. Baker, Room 22

Highlights from Week 15: December 14-18

Hello Families!

It was another great week in Room 22! We were busy learning about the Statue of Liberty, sharing connections to our family heritage and reading Japanese stories. A big THANK YOU to all our parents who made the Heritage Party a big success today, Julie, Kim, Alicia, Dana, Jenny, and Shannon. We appreciate your time and the kids really had a blast!

Our new Top Dog next week is Sophie! We can't wait to welcome her to the Top Dog desk next year! :)

Have a very special Holiday Season with friends and loved ones.

Check out our classroom updates, and as always, be sure to contact me with any questions. Hope you're enjoying some family time this weekend.

Mrs. Baker

Heritage Party

We traveled around the globe today, visiting countries such as India, Netherlands, Australia and Japan.

Keep Reading Over Break

Of course I want you all to rest and enjoy your time with family. BUT, it is essential learning continues so kids don’t go backwards. Please ensure your child reads and practices math facts or IXL. Any resources you have for math and reading are appropriate to use and practice.

Baker Airlines

This week we used google maps and other online resources to 'fly' on Baker Airlines. It is one of my favorite lessons, and the kids seem to enjoy boarding our plane, and flying across the country to learn about Lady Liberty.
