Mrs. Love's and Mrs. Campbell's students made over 60 Valentine's Day placemats for the residents of Shady Lane Nursing Home, hoping to make their holiday a little brighter.
Students in Mrs. Mankey's 5th grade class took time out of their Valentine's Day to make over 200 clay hearts for a local hospice care facility. Also, special thanks to the PVS cafe crew for helping to bake the clay hearts.

Nico's Power Up Packs - Community Service Project
It’s Power Up Pack Time!
Nico’s Power Up Packs are bags of crafts, toys, and activities for pediatric patients. They are named for Nico Cassabria, who was diagnosed with stage IV high-risk neuroblastoma (a type of childhood cancer) at the age of 3 and spent 7 years of his life in and out of the hospital. Nico passed away at the age of 10, but his kindness and compassion will live on through Nico’s Power Up Packs. The name is a nod to Nico’s love of video games and all things gaming. Our hope is that Nico’s Power Up Packs will perk up or “power-up” these young warriors.
We need your help!!
All donations will be collected during the weeks of February 10 - February 21, 2020.
Each grade level is encouraged to donate their designated item so we can Power Up some amazing packs for these pediatric patients.
