Happy Friday Sharks! What a wonderful, all be it chilly, week here at Worthington Park. Time is flying by and we are already in February. As the calendar changes, we look forward to more school based events and celebrations in the coming weeks, including Valentine's Day classroom celebrations on 2/10 & Parent Teacher Conference Week starting next week.
Our team looks forward to next week and welcoming our parents and guardians into the building for conferences! We are excited to collaborate with families and to share about the progress our amazing students have made thus far. If you have not signed up for a conference yet, there is still time! Please reach out to your child's teacher to see what days and times are available!

Get ready for the American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge (KHC)! This year, our school is going on an adventure with the Heart Heroes who will teach us about staying strong in heart, body and mind while helping others with special hearts.

We want to help all our families learn more about CPR! Get started on FINN’S MISSION where you and your family can help create a community of lifesavers by learning Hands-Only CPR and learning about heart attack and stroke signs!
Our school and your support will continue to make a big difference in the fight against heart disease and stroke. Students will earn lots of fun thank you gifts, incentives and recognition for their hard work and support of AHA and our school earns free PE equipment and educational supplies. Your student will also bring home a packet of information in early February.

This year’s K-12 Science Day will be held on Saturday, February 25th, 2023 at Thomas Worthington High School. Science Day has grown to include a number of different options for students. The events planned for the 2023 science day include: Science Fair, Invention Convention, Design Challenge, and a Cubing Competition. To sign up to volunteer or judge, register students to participate, or learn more, visit the Science Day website (www.worthington.k12.oh.us/ScienceDay).
Get your dancing shoes ready for The 2023 Dance on March 4th, at WKHS. Sponsored by WKHS Football, our dance this year will take you into the magical world of Wreck it Ralph and includes dancing, treats, raffles and a keepsake. The dance will be held from 6 PM - 9PM. All students grades K-5 welcome, accompanied by an adult.
