Dear Hillcrest Families, Friends, and Staff,

I hope you all had a wonderful, restful, and memorable Summer. It is a pleasure to welcome you back to school. This will be an exciting year as we continue to grow and strengthen our AVID Elementary, Leader In Me, Dual Language, and Science programs. Students will have opportunities to develop leadership skills through Enrichment & Service Clubs, leadership lessons, school assemblies, and use of our MakerSpace. We will be offering multiple ways for parents to be involved at Hillcrest through parent workshops, school committees, PTA, Volunteering, and special events. Our teachers and staff are ready to provide all students with a world-class educational experience. Our theme this year is "Hillcrest Elementary - the Happiest Place"


Morning Drop - off begins @ 7:45am Please drive slowly and be respectful of all signs & Staff Valet Drop-off will be on Pepper Street (follow the signs & cones) No U-Turns allowed in front of the school or drive-ways No blocking of driveways Students in Grades 2-6 enter through Main Gate Students in K-1 enter through Kindergarten Gate	School Dismissal @ 2:35pm Students will be dismissed from: Grades 2- 6 Main Gate (front of school) Grades K-1 Kinder Gate (front of school) Please do not block driveways Please use crosswalks Please do not sit/stand on grass areas near gates or stairs Teachers will walk students down into parking lot	Drop -off: Kindergarten & 1st Grade Students in Kindergarten & First Grade enter through Kindergarten Gate (please walk your child to the Gate) If you are using Valet drop-off, K-1 students will enter through Main Gate (Parents are not allowed out of the car)*

*Cafeteria will have plexiglass seating

* Weekly COVID Testing available (must be registered with Campus Clinic)

If your child is not feeling well or has symptoms, please keep child at home.
