Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year, we are excited about the traditions and culture that have always made Riverside #RamTastic. However, we are also excited to bring on new staff, programs, and resources to do even more for our students. Staff and administration have been working together to plan various programs for our students and are constantly checking that we meet their needs. In order to gather feedback on these efforts anonymously, we are partnering with an external organization, TESO (Teach Educators & Scholars Organization, LLC), surveying all staff, students, and parents to better understand how well we are fully and equitably meeting the needs of the Riverside community.
As the first and most important teacher and advocate for your children, you can provide invaluable feedback and insight in that area, and we thank you in advance for your honest input on this survey. Our ultimate goal is to provide opportunities and access to all students and create an environment where every member of the school community feels like they belong and have what they need to succeed. That goal cannot be achieved without collecting feedback on our current efforts.
Therefore, in order to facilitate an in-depth “landscape analysis” of the full educational program, the survey will focus on four priority areas: 1) student learning experiences, 2) professional learning, 3) policies, and 4) resource allocation.
We ask that you please take 15-20 minutes to complete the Landscape Analysis Survey. The information we learn from your survey (along with others) will inform the development of a district plan to guide efforts to create a more equitable environment for all students to succeed. Please note that your participation is voluntary, and your responses are anonymous and confidential. Because we are not asking for your name, you can be completely honest in how you answer the questions. Your online survey submission means that you agree to participate in this process.
Please complete the survey by September 2, 2022, to ensure that your input is included in the data collection and analysis process for future planning.
