Students can purchase Falcon Spirit Gear on certain Fridays during their lunch period throughout the remainder of the school year. There are T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Spirit Sticks, and various other items for sale at the table.

STEM Summer Camp Opportunity for Falcons currently in Grades 3-4-5

What: Science-Technology-Engineering-Math Summer Camp (Two classes chosen by the student)

Where: Shady Oaks Elementary

When: June 13-16 and 20-23 Mon-Thursday from 8-12

What else do I need to know?

  • Registration April 5th from 3:30-5:00 in the Hurst Hills Office
  • Transportation from your home campus
  • Breakfast and Lunch provided
  • Cost
$40.00 if the child qualifies for free lunches during the school day.

$80.00 if the child qualifies for reduced lunches.

$160.00 if the child does not qualify for free or reduced lunches.

Students will receive registration information fliers soon with class options.

Come join in the fun at the Hurst Hills Falcon 3rd Annual Color Run!

  • Color run is this Sunday April 10th from 1:30-3:15
  • Cost:$10.00 Per runner after April 1st
  • Ages 4 and under free with a paid runner

  • Warm up with the Hurst Fire Department!
  • Ask your teacher or the office for additional registration forms. You can register on the day of the run of needed.

Raffle will be held immediately after the run! Prizes donated from the following businesses:

How to Volunteer at Hurst Hills

Volunteers are welcome and needed at Hurst Hills! If you want to volunteer, please go to the district web site and find the red apple. Click and follow the directions for the Volunteers system. You must have cleared the volunteer system to attend a field trip, be a watchdog, or help with school events. It can take some time, so sign up now! Returning volunteers should renew every 12 months. Texas Math Resources for Families

The site includes an overview of the TEKS at each Grade Level (click on the Grade Level link at the top), along with related activities or website links. The Media Materials link at the top includes a bookmark or brochure that informs parents about the site. Here is the link below:
