Passaic County Gifted & Talented Event

School #1 hosted a Passaic County Gifted & Talented Steam Day on Wednesday, January 16th. The event was for 5th Grade G&T Students and it was attended by eight school districts in the county. The students were to work together as a group to construct a temporary, waterproof, portable home that could be used in communities around the world that are dealing with the aftermath of storms. They were all given the same supplies to construct their temporary homes and they had time constraints as well. It was amazing to watch their young minds construct and work together.
