Running Club
Running Club will start on Thursday October 3rd, after school and it will be every THURSDAY ONLY until November 21st.
Deadline to sign up is September 26thSpanish Volunteer Program at Cypress Elementary Looking for Parent Volunteers!
We are looking for energetic and excited parent volunteers to teach basic, elementary-level Spanish at Cypress Elementary (grades K-2).
This is a great opportunity to come in once a week and teach songs, play games, and lead other activities that will teach students basic-level Spanish. All lessons will be taught in the library.
Lesson details and teaching materials are provided at Cypress. The Spanish Volunteer Program lessons will begin in October.

PTA Reflections
PTA Reflections helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy that translates into confidence and a love of learning and expression. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within.
Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. This is open to ALL students!
Entries are due October 24th in the Cypress Elementary office. Download entry forms and guidelines at the Cypress Elementary PTA website under the Reflections tab.
Join us for ART NIGHT on September 19th following the General PTA Meeting 6:30 pm in the school cafeteria. Explore different ways to use your creative side and have fun!

What is Destination ImagiNation?
Destination ImagiNation is an extracurricular, school-sponsored program that fosters creativity and team-based problem-solving skills and life skills for students. Leander ISD DI is open to all students in third through twelfth grades. The goal of Destination ImagiNation is to cultivate the creative problem solving process and make it an unconscious part of students’ everyday lives.
Teachers will send out specifics! BE on the lookout!
We will need parent help. It's very rewarding and fun to watch the kids grow! IF you have ANY questions, please feel free to ask or check it out on the QUEST website, there are even videos there.
