Guess Betsy had a thing for titles with "Alice" in them over the summer...both great reads and would make great films - fingers crossed!
The Alice Network by Kate Quinn - This historical fiction novel tells the story of the real-life network of female spies operating in France during WWI, along with the story of a young, American socialite looking for her cousin in post-WWII France.
What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty - Alice is 29, in love, and about to have a baby until she wakes up after a fall at the gym (?!) and discovers she is getting a divorce, has 3 kids, and is about to turn 40!
