NBHS ALL IN...LEADING LIFELONG LEARNERS
Week of 10/29-11/5
It has been a busy couple of weeks at NBHS. We had our Red Ribbon week, Counsel for Drug Free Youth Assembly, and the can food drive all going on. We hope that our students better understand the harmful impact of drugs on the mind and body. We are blessed to have the Counsel of Drug Free Youth close by to partner with in order to spread the message of the negative impacts of drug use. The students did an amazing job of raising enough canned foods to help support those in need, right here in New Bloomfield. On Saturday, November 3, 2018 the Food Bank at NBHS served around 10 different families. It is amazing to see our students learn to give back.
The parent teacher conferences went really well. We truly appreciate the parents that were able to make it out. For those that could not make it out, please feel free to contact your students teachers at anytime via email or phone. You can find the teachers email addresses on the district website by going to www.nb.k12.mo.us.
on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. we will be having our annual "Veterans Day Assembly." We look forward to having a large crowd as always, please feel free to come a little early to get your seat. We are so thankful for all those who have served and we are excited to take this time to honor them in such a profound way. We look forward to seeing all the Veterans and their loved ones on this day.
Remember to join us on Tuesday (tomorrow) night at 6:30 in the High School for our first parent education event. We will learn about human trafficking, the signs and how to help prevent trafficking in our community. Hope to see you Tuesday. Please spread the word.
