Introduction To Jazz Singing
Hear it! Love it! Sing It!
Are you fascinated by jazz singing and wondering how the jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong did it?
Join Heidi Krenn for a invigorating workshop suitable for beginners and profes-sionals alike. All that is required is a joy for singing and an interest in jazz music. The workshop will introduce the history and practice of scat singing and vocal improvisation, through both listening and participation.
You will find out what the “shoo-be-doo” is all about, singing your own blues and improvising your own scat solo.
