Inspirations....
Flatonia Elementary Memo
Inspired this week by the Circus!
Welcome to the Circus...sometimes it feels like our days our like a day at the Circus. I know I've found that there are just those days that it seems like you're moving from one "ring" of the circus to the next.
There are pros and cons of the "circus" life we lead as educators. I know that this exact reason is one of the things that attracted me to a career in education. The excitement of days that were always different and filled with unknown surprises. I found that the challenge and uncertainty of what was coming next is something that I enjoyed...I just couldn't imagine working in a job where it was the same thing day in and day out. But there are also times when it seems like the circus just gets a little to crazy, and a nice quite boring day sounds really good!
No matter what the day brings, there is always the smile of precious children, just like the smiles found at the circus. I guess that is one positive thing that helps get me through the tough days. I hope you find your own joy in the sometimes wild and crazy days we are faced with.

Mrs. Claus Visits Virtually
Last year, a few teachers participated in this fun event! Mrs. Claus will read to your class, and it will be personalized for your students.
Here is the Update I received from the Region 13 North Pole:
There are limited spots open for your Pre-K through 3rd graders to share the experience of having a story read by Mrs. Claus in a half hour presentation. The program includes riddles, songs and finger play.
