Over the next two weeks we will be learning about Native Americans and Thanksgiving. In preparation for our Sharing Feast, we will be scrubbing, peeling, and chopping potatoes. The potatoes we prepare will be added to the vegetable soup we will be sharing at our feast. The books we will read include Stone Soup, The Very First Thanksgiving, and Feeling Thankful.
Please Keep in Mind…
- School will be closed on November 21 for Parent Teacher Conferences.
- School will be closed November 26th-28th for Thanksgiving Break
- Please bring in one potato for your child to peel and chop by Wednesday, 11/19
- As the weather is getting colder, the children continue to go outside daily. Please make sure your child has appropriate outdoor clothing and an appropriate change of clothes in his/her box.
