Halloween on Friday, October 30th
Although we are unable to have any holiday/seasonal parties at school, we are still going to try to keep with a few things to make our "fall party" something the kids can look forward to. We are still going to have the students dress up for our Fall Party, but with the guidelines we have currently in school, we will have some very specific expectations. If your child should choose to dress up, it will be on Friday, October 30.
Here are the expectations we will follow:
- Halloween masks or makeup will not be permitted (they must wear their regular masks).
- Costumes must be school appropriate.
- Students will not be permitted to bring accessories for their costumes.
- Costumes will be worn all day (including Encore classes, lunch and recess); they will not be able to change into the costumes during the day.
- Students must be able to move throughout the day (including lunch and recess) and complete daily school activities while in their costume.
- If your child does not want to wear his/her costume, they can wear a Halloween/Fall shirt, fall colors, etc.
As a school, we will be completing fall activities, playing some virtual games as a school and trying to make the day fun and special for our students. Again, there will be no parties, food or parents permitted in the building this day.
Sign-Up for PTA
We know things are going to look different this year, but we want to come together to support our children, families, and teachers. By becoming part of the PTA : We are a Powerful voice for our children. A Relevant Resource for families and communities. A Strong Advocate for the education and the well-being of every child. Remember, joining PTA does NOT mean you are required to volunteer or attend virtual meetings, but it does give you some extra information and additional resources to connect to other parents. We love new ideas and new faces. Click on the link below to join us!
Chromebooks
Our kids in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade should be using their district issued case and device each day.

When should I keep my child home?
- A fever of 100.4 degrees or higher. This is one of the strongest Covid Symptoms
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
- Persistent cough or runny nose
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat
We need you to assist in helping us, by monitoring for these symptoms on a daily basis, and keeping your child home if they aren't feeling well.
Important Information About Breakfast & Lunch
Our team is working hard to provide students with sufficient time to eat. We are moving students through our lunch line and down to their classrooms to eat very quickly. This has gone very well thus far, providing students with ample time to enjoy their lunch with their classmates.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST USE THE NUTRISLICE APPLICATION TO ORDER YOUR BREAKFAST AND YOUR LUNCH BY 10:00PM THE NIGHT BEFORE. YOU CAN ORDER BREAKFAST & LUNCH UP TO TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE.
