Morning Pre-K Newsletter
Week of Oct 3, 2016
A peek at our week:
I am trying to get this newsletter out early, as I am gone to a work shop, Monday morning. Mrs. Haskell will be at school with Mr. Jungers. He is a great guy who brings story books from home, and loves the excitement and energy of preschool!
We continue talking about apples, and leaves and grow more patterning, and counting. We also will be doing fall assessments. Please help your child by getting lots of rest, basically help them to stay on their regular schedule.
***As the weather begins to change, please make sure we still have an extra set of clothes including socks! Might be time to switch shorts for pants. ***
We are learning the color orange and review the shapes oval, circle, triangle, square, and rectangle. Tuesday please have your child wear orange and/or bring something from home that is orange!!
We have also been working very hard on our names!
Our stories this week are That is Not a Good Idea! Ten Apples Up on Top! We're going on a Leaf Hunt, I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some leaves.
A look ahead:
HARVEST MOON PUMPKIN PATCH! Thursday, October 13th. On this day ALL children come at noon. We love for as many parents to come as possible. The charge for parents is $3.50. We eat a sack lunch together in the preschool playground. There is NO morning preschool, and more information will be going home in October.
