FIHS Weekly Update
Week of May 8-12, 2023
Students who qualify to be recognized at the Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony on May 25 were emailed invitations last week. To qualify, students must have a cumulative 4.0 or above GPA. Please use the link in the email to RSVP and let us know how many family members to expect. The ceremony will be held in the main gym and begin at 6PM.
The last full day of school for the 2023-2024 school year is May 31. June 1 and June 2 are make up exams/EOC days. Students who missed their exam or EOC on the scheduled date are required to make these tests up on June 1 or June 2.
The end of the year is coming fast! Below are some dates to note on your calendar. More detailed information about these dates will be in the INN the Know newsletter mailed home with report cards at the end of the school year.

FIHS Yearbooks have sold out on the Jostens.com website for the 2023-2024 school year. We have ordered limited extra copies and will sell those for $65.00 beginning Monday, May 15 through myschoolbucks.com.
After extra yearbooks are sold, all yearbooks for the 2023-2024 school year will be sold out!
Summer School Begins June 19, 2023
Any student who has failed a semester course in Math, English, or Science. Students who fail courses in high school are in danger of not graduating on-time. If you are interested in enrolling your FIHS student in summer school to recover credits in Math, English, or Science, please contact Ms Smith, Summer School Administrator at

May 23 - 3rd Block EOC (English 2, Algebra I)
May 24 - 2nd Block EOC (English 2, Algebra I, Biology)
May 25 - 1st Block EOC (English 2, Algebra I, Biology)
May 26 - 1st Block and 3rd Block Final Exams
May 29 - Memorial Day Holiday
May 30 - 2nd and 4th Block Final Exams
May 31 - All students turn in chromebooks and chargers
June 1 - EOC/Final Exam Make Ups (Half Day)
June 2 - EOC/Final Exam Make Ups (Half Day)
