cloning
cloning is when you make a duplicate or a copy of someone or somthing else. there are four tpyes of technology used to clone, artifical, gene, reproductive and theorticical.when cloning there are benefits and ricks.some of the benefits are that some of the defective genes can be eliminated.anothere thing is that there can be faster recovery from a tramatic injury. the last benefit is that the infertality can be eliminated as well.now the risk are that the might be a faster pace in aging and a reduse of overall value in human life.
the history of cloning
back in 2000 cloning was frist used on plants.even thought we have been cloning for thousands of years the frist step was plant then to test it on humans.human clonig was never thought possible but was later tested on a sheep named dolly.
fist time experimenting
ian wilmut and keith campbell were both scientist from the scotland instutute.ian wilmut wasthe scientist that cloned dolly the sheep.him and this colleagues wanted to try and see if cloning mammals was possible and yet it was and when he cloned dolly he got polly.keith campbell was one of ians colleagues who helped him with the experiment.
The rules
the goverment made rules in cloning for the saftey of others.one rule was "human cloning prohibition act of 2003" this rule prohibited the use of cloning on humans. then after four year another rule came about which was "the human cloning act of 2007" which prohibites the implanting of a clone into a women. all of these cloning regulations and rules were used to asure the saftey of everyone and everything.
