Milestones Testing Continues this Week

DMS students are taking the Georgia Milestones

This is the final week of testing with makeups and 8th grade tests.

Device Collection for All DMS Students

When: Face-to-Face students: Monday, May 24th during connections, students will stay in their first connections

Virtual Students: Tuesday, May 25th (9:00-11:00 or 1:00-3:00)

Where: Media Center

Chargers & Device Specifics

  • If a student does not have a charger, they will be charged a replacement fee ($15)
  • If a student purchased a replacement charger this year, that replacement charger needs to be turned in
  • If a student has a loaner laptop, that device will be turned in during collection

Additional Information

  • Students should bring: 1.) Laptop 2.) Charger 3.) Know their student number
  • If a student does not have one of the items above, it is possible they will be charged for the items. Explain to students that they need to be prepared

In partnership with Dalton Public Schools, the Boys and Girls Club will have a camp this summer that has fun activities as well as academic enrichment for middle schoolers.
