Health Class
Morrice High School junior, Alina Stinson visited the high school health class to present on Nephrotic Syndrome. Nephrotic Syndrome is a kidney disorder. While presenting, the health students were able use their knowledge of how disease affects one’s body, mind, lifestyle, social life, community, and finances to engage in discussion with Alina. Emma Valentine, MHS freshman, enjoyed using the cross-curricular knowledge she has gained from health and Bio-Art PBL to make connections during the presentation. Emma mentioned that “hearing similar topics from different teachers and presenters helps me understand the bigger picture of a topic and how disease affect us.”
