6th-Grade Outdoor Camp
We are happy to announce that our Traditional CCMS 6th Grade Outdoor school will again take place this May. This program started in 1958 and is loved by students and staff. Be looking for information soon about what weeks each class will attend. We have a new webpage that'll be a great resource for families as camp approaches.
New Clubs Start 3rd Trimester!
Attendance Information
We understand that this time of year, there is a lot of sicknesses. Please let the school know if your child is sick and talk with your teachers about possible work. Oregon law states that students are expected to maintain regular school attendance. Regular school attendance helps students make academic gains, are less likely to fall behind, and are more likely to graduate on time.
Congratulations CCMS Wreslters!
It was a great weekend to be a CCMS Colt!!! The wrestling team is the 2023 Central Oregon District Wrestling champs! We had 21 wrestlers on the podium, and 7 were individual Champions. 👏
As Winter sports come to a close, I want to shout out to the 250+ Student-athletes that participated in basketball and wrestling.
On March 13th, optional Track practices begin. April 7th is the last day to register to participate. We are excited to get kids out around the track with the impressive numbers that we have every year.
Also, this year we will be starting a CCMS Soccer team. This will begin after Spring Break. It will be a modified schedule this year, roughly three days per week. During one of those days, we will be competing against other schools. Our goal is to have separate boys' and girls' teams as we compete against Obsidian and Elton Gregory. Registrations will determine the specific number of teams that we will field.
We are excited about a new season as we come into spring, so please make sure and get the necessary information completed and signed up. Please look online with the CCMS webpage to get registered.
We are C.C. Go Colts!

#AmazingStudentsFriday
Every Friday, our School District recognizes amazing students based on nominations by staff. On February 10th, 6th grader Kharter Jocelyn was nominated by counselor Mrs. Angie Cochran, who said: "Kharter is doing an amazing job. He works hard in his classes, is kind to others, and has a great attitude. We are proud of his hard work and are so happy to have him here as a student at CCMS!"
Congratulations, Kharter! Thanks for being our Amazing Student for the week of February 6th-10th.
