Ernest Hemingway was born in Oak Park Illinois 1899

He died July 2nd 1961 after committing suicide

Mr. Hemingway was a news paper writer then in 1914 when WW1 broke out he became an ambulance driver, but he thought it boring so he went to battle.

Hemingway won the Pulitzer Prize For Fiction in 1953

in 1454 Hemingway won the Nobel prize for literature

  • While he was in hospital he fell in love with and got engaged to Agnes Von Kurowsky, who left him
  • Hemingway married Hadley richardson who had their son ,John Hemingway, in 1923
  • Hemingway divorced Hadley to marry Pauline Pfeiffer who had their son Patrick Hemingway in 1928
  • Hemingway divorced Pauline to marry Martha Gellhorn and they purchased a farm in Cuba
  • Hemingway devorsed Martha to marry Mary Welsh
