Bearcat Praises
We had so many great things going on this week and I can't thank everyone enough for all their hard work. I have to first thank everyone who helped out with our 4th grade writing and 5th grade reading bootcamps. I know those are a chore putting together and with this being the first time to do them it's natural to be skeptical of their effectiveness. Hopefully, after you've seen it in action the picture is a little clearer on why we do them. The bottom line for me is that they relax our kids and give them confidence going into the test. I think it also reassures the teachers a little that the kids are ready :)
Thank you so much Ms. Nisbett for all her hard work planning and organizing our testing. She was the one who made it all come together and even when things didn't go as plan with the schedule she made the adjustments and got the word out to the teachers. We literally had zero incidents over those two days and it's no doubt due to her planning and organization.
Thank you to everyone who came out to plan Tuesday for the outdoor classroom we are planning to honor Vail. We had a great turnout and I have no doubt this is going to be an awesome place for our kids. Thank you so much to Mr. Johnson's math kids for mapping out the area so we can get an accurate architectural design.
Thanks to our campus leadership team for their input at our meeting this week. We began to review and narrow our focus for next year and there were some great conversations taking place. Thank you so much Mrs. Kayla Brown, Mrs. Lilly Ramirez, Mrs. Odette Keir and Mrs. Cynthia Cory on being our parent representatives. Their input is invaluable!
Thank you so much Mrs. McDonald for all your hard work in planning our Camp Grady Spruce trip this year! She has been working so hard planning this trip literally since the beginning of school. I have no doubt it will be a great experience for our kids and it will be in large part due to her efforts!
3rd and 4th grade Reading Tournament
Thank you Denton Ryan students and Mrs. Acevedo for the awesome letters!
