Home-Learning Newsletter

Let's Soar!

Day 1 Update! There have been a few hiccups, but we are figuring things out!

Our first day of online/home learning has had a great start! The CMS teaching staff was amazed at all of the students who were eager and ready to tackle online learning. Some assignments were completed right away in the morning. Hopefully, this eagerness does not diminish as the days go on!

We had a few issues with viewing posted videos from staff to students, but have explored many of the reasons for this and hopefully, this will improve. If you continue to have problems, please reach out to your teacher!

WE ARE HERE FOR YOU! The teaching and support staff are working and on duty! E-mail or call your teachers with questions and they will help you. We understand how overwhelming it can seem when you have to provide for your family and teach your children. For some elementary families, the pile of materials sent home is overwhelming! Be consistent and keep working, but please know we understand you are doing your best with these unique circumstances! Our goal is to keep learning!!!

School Lunch & Breakfast Deliveries!

As we completed day 1 of our food delivery to families that have signed up, we have compiled a few tips and reminders:

  • If possible, please leave a cooler outside where you would like the food dropped. This will help shelter the food from the elements if you don't get to pick it up right away. It will also signal where you would like the meal dropped.
  • Meal delivery times will vary from day to day depending on the number of meals. Each day's lunch and the breakfast for the following day will be delivered prior to noon each day.
  • Need to sign up for LUNCH & BREAKFAST deliveries? You can by calling your school office or the district office. 715-264-2141 ext. 1224
