NACER Community Newsletter
Welcome to the November edition of the NACER newsletter!
Every month, this newsletter will bring you updated resources and current community information.
NACER is a community partnership with the Austin Independent School District and community partners that supports the literacy and basic needs of students and families in the Northeast Early College High School feeder pattern. Our work aligns resources and academic supports for our partner campuses, students, and their families.
If you have any questions or need help with any of the resources on this newsletter, please contact your school's office or AISD Let's Talk. The NACER family of schools contact information is at the end of this newsletter.

Parent Cloud Account
In order to access student's grades, attendance and assignments in BLEND, families need to set up their Parent Cloud accounts. Families can ask their school office staff to send a “FastPass” email to the primary email address on file, or they can click on the "Parent Cloud Account Creation" button at my.austinisd.org. Families can also contact the Parent Support line for assistance at 512-414-9187, Option 6.
BLEND is the official online starting point for all K-12 students. Teachers will share important class information, assignments and other digital resources through BLEND.
Once the parent cloud account is set up, log into the AISD Portal: https://portal.austinisd.org/
These printable documents provide parents/guardians with key information about BLEND.
PreK - 2nd-grade students will use Seesaw on their iPad to supplement their teacher’s BLEND course.

Communities in Schools
While students are not physically in school, CIS remains dedicated to their well-being and continued learning. The CIS team is committed to doing everything in its power to support students and families and connect them to needed resources and services. During school closures, the CIS team is providing the following supports:
- Virtual case management with students to provide connection, emotional support and needs assessment.
